Owner & Esthetician – Tracy Meyer
Tracy began her journey into the world of skincare in 1988, where she completed her Cosmetology and Esthetics certifications in New York. Three years later, Tracy jumped the pond to enjoy afternoon tea with her studies. At Thanet Technical College on Britain’s Southeast coast, Tracy immersed herself in European skin care. She also refined her skills in body massage, waxing, electrolysis, manicures and pedicures. Valuable experience was gained at English and French spas, where Tracy worked during her time in Europe. In 1992, her studies completed, only crumbs left in her box of biscuits and the last tea bag steeping, she graduated with a degree in Beauty Therapy in 1992. Destined for more adventure, more culture, and more priceless experience, Tracy grabbed a life jacket and jumped aboard some of the largest cruise ships in the world. She toured the Caribbean and Mediterranean offering facials, body treatments and massages to the myriad of vacationers who were ready to inhale the warm sun and exhale the salt of the seas. In 1995, Tracy docked in the US where she developed a steady following of clients in New York, Massachusetts and Atlanta. With the dawn of the new millennium, Tracy moved to Wilmington and began putting roots down in this community.
Tracy has been working with natural and organic skincare for over 20 years. She has refocused her practice to include North Carolina’s own De La Terre products, as well as Germany’s biodynamic line of skin care and cosmetics, Dr. Hauschka. She is a certified Dr. Hauschka esthetician having attended the intensive training at their US headquarters in Massachusetts. Tracy is a renowned esthetician here in Wilmington, where she’s known for her sweet smile, warm hugs and exceptional knowledge of skin care and health.
